Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with transportation personnel and public-service agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and screen for unauthorized entry according to procedures and laws.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related matters.
