Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Response Driver to provide reliable security services at an assigned site. The role offers flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts and requires a valid armed guard license and driver’s license.

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour; Sat: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM. A fixed anchor shift and the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program provide steady base hours with opportunities to grow into a fuller schedule.

Qualifications

• Armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Armed guard license and driver's license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, substations, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, infrastructure concerns, access‑control issues, and potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site‑specific procedures.
