Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time in Land O Lakes, FL. You will patrol government facilities, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible Part Time schedules, with a shift-claim platform to build your own path within a nationwide security leader. Ideal candidates hold Armed Guard Card or Licenses, meet age and education requirements, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, documenting incidents and patrol activities per site policies.
• Maintain readiness and comply with laws, licensing, post orders, and procedures for armed patrols.
