Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed - Part Time Enhanced in Fairfax, VA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The position supports healthcare sites with responsible patrols, access control, and incident response, and requires an armed guard card and Virginia DCJS license. Pay rate is $21.74/hour, with a schedule of DayTimeSun10:00 AM - 03:30 PM.

Qualifications

At least two years of security experience.
Valid armed guard card or license.
Valid Virginia DCJS license.
Valid driver’s license.
21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required.
Industry-specific security training required.
Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly while following established protocols.
Conduct regular armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity and report suspicious conditions.
Maintain readiness of equipment and comply with laws and Allied Universal policies.
