Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer in El Paso, TX to safeguard clients across government locations and other facilities. You will perform armed patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents with professionalism while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow with our shift-claim platform. You will join a team guided by integrity and teamwork, with training provided and compliance with background

Qualifications

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law-enforcement personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, activities, and property conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do
