Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time Elite Patrol Driver) for a Plano, TX retail location. You will perform armed patrols, provide customer service, deter theft, and respond to incidents with professionalism while maintaining a visible presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years armed security experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Deter theft and unauthorized activity with a visible presence and timely reporting.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws and company policies.

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:30 PM - 10:30 PMTue03:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity through a visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious behavior.
• Maintain readiness to carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company requirements, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
