Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver for a part-time shift at a retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.

This role requires a valid driver's license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and eligibility for background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, employee entrances, and high-traffic areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, observations, and daily activities.
