Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver for a part-time schedule. The role includes patrolling a retail location, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering professional customer service.

You must hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, have a valid driver's license, and meet minimum experience requirements. The position offers pay at $25.00 per hour with shift options and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, employee entrances, and high-traffic areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, observations, and daily activities.
