Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC. This role offers flexible fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform, designed for income stability and potential progression to full-time hours.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, asset protection, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting for a financial institution.

Qualifications

Armed guard card/license required.
Valid driver’s license required.
21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen required by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol activities and incidents.
