Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Washington, DC. You will patrol assigned areas, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform.

Starting pay is $21.06 per hour with day and weekend shifts. A high school diploma is required and background checks along with a drug screen are standard parts of the employment

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with credential verification and visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain professional communications with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
