Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed) in Boynton Beach, FL to safeguard residents and guests at a commercial real estate community. You will manage access control, patrol premises, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence throughout shifts.

The role requires compliance with licensing, safety, and reporting procedures, with a schedule that supports daily coverage and a pay rate of $27.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military or a criminal justice degree.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• Driver’s license for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct guests to appropriate locations within the commercial real estate property.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, common areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and access-control concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
