Job summary

DK Security, Inc seeks an Armed Security Officer for a military base site in Chesterfield, MI. You’ll protect buildings, grounds and personnel, patrol, monitor CCTV, and report incidents. The role requires an active CPL, prior armed security experience, and strong communication skills.

Part-time 2nd/3rd shifts, weekends, with duties including access control, post guarding, and incident documentation. Benefits available and a professional image is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have Michigan CPL.
• Must have prior armed experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Pass criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Pass psychological evaluation and drug test.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication.
• English literacy and ability to interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills; MS Office, email, internet.

Responsibilities

• Guard posts at entry points and restricted areas.
• Conduct foot patrols of interior and exterior site areas.
• Remote monitor via CCTV and control site access.
• Respond to incidents and document shift activity and reports.
• De-escalate situations and communicate rules and policies.
• Provide first aid or assist responders in emergencies.
• Collaborate with client/site team and follow post guidelines.
