Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a military base in Southeast Michigan. The role requires active CPL, 21+ years old, and armed security experience.

You will guard posts, patrol on foot or by vehicle, monitor CCTV, and document all activities while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. This part-time position covers 2nd and 3rd shifts on site in Chesterfield, MI. Applicants must pass background, drug tests, and a psychological evaluation as required by site

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have prior armed experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Guard Posts - static post at access points, doorways, building lobbies, reception areas, etc.
• Foot Patrols - walk interior and exterior to ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Remote Monitor - monitor surroundings on CCTV and control site access.
• Vehicle Patrols - may require driving to patrol site sections.
• Reports - document shift activity and incidents.
• Communication - de-escalate situations and communicate rules clearly.
• Response - provide first aid if needed and coordinate with first responders.
