Job summary

Security Services Northwest, Inc. in Sequim, WA is seeking an Armed Security Guard to protect properties and people across the Olympic Peninsula. You must live locally and be able to drive to assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5 years of combined experience in Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Armed Security.
• WA State Armed Guard License.
• Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.
• Reserve police officers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
• Monitor activities
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders
