Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Officer in Manson, NC to provide security services at a government corrections location. You will conduct armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering professional customer service.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

• Mon 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support facility operations.
• Monitor access and movement through designated areas, verify authorization as required, and report irregularities, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly, and maintain readiness to respond to evolving conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
