Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and maintain awareness of conditions in the patrol area.

Pay Rate: $22.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report irregularities or access-related issues according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the assigned patrol area.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A armed guard card or license is required
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
