As a Armed Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:15 PMWed03:15 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
