Job summary

Allied Universal, Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Armed Patrol Response Security Officer to protect travelers, employees and visitors. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

This full-time role requires an armed guard card or license, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. CPR is preferred, and driving responsibilities are noted.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of airport areas, terminals, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and activities.

Pay Rate: $22.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, airport location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned airport areas, terminals, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, badges, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering restricted or controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
