Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 21+ Years of Age


• Active Armed Guard Card/License


• Valid Driver's License


• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM


• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor for suspicious behavior, theft-related activity, access concerns, and potential hazards; report observations and incidents according to site procedures.


• Maintain professional communication with store management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.


• Be at least 21 years of age.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
