Armed Security Officer Hiring Event - Nashville

Allied Universal is hiring 40 Armed Security Officers for the Metro Nashville account. Walk in, interview, and leave with an offer!

Hiring Event

• When: Thursday, October 15, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM


• Where: Allied Universal, 22 Century Blvd, Suite 410, Nashville, TN 37214


• On-the-spot offers for qualified candidates


• Dress code: Business casual. Come dressed as you would for an interview (no sweats).

Pay: Armed positions start at $23.00/hour

Positions: Full-time and part-time, all shifts available (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekends)

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older


• Armed Security Officer: 3+ years of experience as an armed security officer or in the military or law enforcement, or a combination of these totaling 3+ years


• Unarmed Security Officer: 1+ year of security experience


• Valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements


• A Tennessee armed guard license, or the ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner


• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
