St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring an Armed Security Officer to join our Dearborn Security Team. Shift/Hours: Part Time 20 Hours, Any Shift.

The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff; and to interact with people, with an emphasis on professional service and customer relations. The Armed Security Officer should have a working knowledge and understanding of the use of deadly physical force.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with applicable Criminal Justice experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred to support advanced security duties.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by the Hospital insurance carrier.

Responsabilités

• Directs visitors, patients and employees to appropriate location(s) and intervenes to prevent and control disturbances.
• Protecting, securing, and safeguarding all persons on SEH property.
• Provide way-finding and general assistance for patients and visitors during the course of routine security duties.
• Monitor activity via closed circuit television and monitor alarm systems; handle radio and telephone communications.
