Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for Security Police Officer-Armed role.
• Currently employed full-time as a police officer within the State of Michigan; OR separated officer from MI police; OR out-of-state officer eligible for reciprocal licensure; OR security/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Henry Ford Health facilities and properties to protect people and property.
• Direct visitors, patients, and employees to appropriate locations.
• Intervene to prevent and control disturbances and summon appropriate assistance as needed.
• Keep appropriate persons informed of activities, events, and incidents.
