Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking an armed security officer for full-time positions in Stamford and Bridgeport, CT. The role offers a $28.60 hourly wage, with work hours Tue/Wed/Fri 7:15am-5:00pm and Thu 8:45am-6:30pm, totaling 39 hours per week.

Eligible for a $500 signing bonus ($250 at 3 months, $250 at 6 months). Requirements include 3 years of law enforcement, corrections or active military service, a CT Carry permit, and CT Armed security license.

Qualifications

• 3 years law enforcement, corrections or active/retired military required.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• CT Carry permit and CT Armed security license required.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Stay alert and monitor pedestrian traffic.
• Patrol premises to maintain safety for employees, patients and clients.
• Use verbal de-escalation when needed.
• Write daily incident reports.
