United Security Inc. is seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer in Bridgeport, CT. The role offers a $500 hiring bonus with $250 paid at 3 months and $250 at 6 months. Shifts are Tue/Wed/Fri 7:15am–7:00pm and Thu 8:45am–6:30pm for a 39-hour workweek, at $28.60 per hour, with benefits and career opportunities.

The position requires at least 3 years of law enforcement, corrections, or active/retired military experience, along with CT security licenses and a CT Carry permit.

Qualifications

• 3 years law enforcement, corrections, or active/retired military experience.
• CT Carry permit and CT Armed security license.
• Ability to work long shifts in a high traffic environment.

Responsibilities

• Stay highly alert to ensure safety of employees, patients and clients.
• Monitor pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the facility.
• Patrol premises frequently to maintain security.
• Use oral de-escalation when needed.
• Write daily incident reports.
