Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer for Stamford and Bridgeport, CT. Schedule includes Tue Wed Fri 7:15am–7:00pm and Thu 8:45am–6:30pm, totaling about 39 hours per week. Requires 3 years of security or related experience and CT carry/license.

You will stay alert, monitor access, patrol the premises, de-escalate verbally, and document incidents. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years law enforcement, active military or security experience.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• CT Carry permit and CT Armed security license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Staying very alert
• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
• Using oral de-escalation when needed
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur
