This role requires carrying out security procedures, responding to incidents, and maintaining calm, professional conduct while upholding site policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed guard card or license.
• College degree.
• Corrections officer license or related certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify entry credentials, and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings while carrying assigned equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
