As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and help deter concerns through a highly visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required equipment records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
