As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Monroe, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and embody Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
