Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol Driver in Durham, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients across Manufacturing & Industrial settings, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
