The Hana Group seeks an experienced Armed Protective Security Officer in Washington, DC to safeguard National Capitol Region buildings. The role emphasizes strict access control, security screening, and proactive threat detection within a high-profile facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency for current service members.
• Ability to work all shifts, any days of the week.
• Must have a Social Security Card.
• Ability to obtain favorable verification through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Enforce access control for entry of authorized individuals, packages, and vehicles.
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detectors, x-ray machines, and screen items.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and respond to threats per protocols.
• Detect and address security breaches; apprehend violators.
• Execute emergency closure procedures and assist during crises.
• Perform roving guard duties and perimeter/interior patrols.
