Job summary

Hana Technologies & Systems, Inc. (HTS) seeks Armed Protective Security Officers to join our team at National Capitol Region buildings in Washington, DC. The role involves enforcing access control, screening with detectors, and patrol responsibilities.

Candidates must have at least 2 years armed security experience (or 1 year law enforcement or 2 years U.S. armed forces), be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and be able to work all shifts. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years with US citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
• Minimum 2 years armed security experience or 1 year police service or 2 years US Armed Forces.
• Must be able to obtain DHS suitability and pass medical/physical exam.
• Proficient with firearms and able to respond to emergencies calmly.

Responsibilities

• Enforce access control and screen individuals and vehicles.
• Operate detectors and x-ray machines for screening.
• Perform roving guards and perimeter patrols to identify threats.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and logs.

Skills

Armed security experience
