Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Armed in Minneapolis, MN. This role provides flexible, dependable hours with a base schedule and additional shifts through the Earn-A-Shift program.

You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while ensuring safety and compliance. Minimum requirements include at least 2 years in law enforcement or related fields, armed guard license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors and operations teams.
• Must hold an armed guard card or license and be at least 21 for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency responses.
• Perform armed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter misconduct.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.
