Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor/contractor records, and report access-control concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
