Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN to patrol facilities, monitor access, and deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. The role offers flexible day shifts and the ability to build a schedule that fits your life, with an emphasis on safety and integrity in an aerospace/defense location.

You will perform routine patrols, verify credentials, and document activity, while using Allied Universal’s tech tools to claim shifts and stay

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
