Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to drug screening where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Maintain readiness to respond to security situations and complete required reports.
