Allied Universal in Saint Albans, NY is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect clients at a financial institution. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies.

The role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, Law Enforcement Officer License, and an armed guard card is preferred. Must be 21+, have a high school diploma, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned areas to help protect personnel, property, and confidential information.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, access-related activity, and other security-related observations.
