Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a financial institution in Hartford, CT. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires an armed guard card, a valid firearms permit preferred, and a minimum age of 21. High school diploma or equivalent is required, plus background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
