Allied Universal, a leading security services provider in New York, seeks an Armed Security Officer for part-time shifts at a financial institution. You will conduct armed patrols, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding site procedures.

The role requires a concealed carry permit and relevant licenses; CPR and firearms certifications are preferred. Scheduling includes daytime shifts with weekday and weekend coverage.

Formación

• Concealed carry permit required.
• Law enforcement officer license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Valid firearms permit preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures, maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, document activities and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain armed post qualifications and handle equipment in accordance with laws, licensing and site procedures.
