Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Global Financial Services Firm in New York. You will monitor and patrol interiors and exteriors, deter incidents with a visible presence, and respond professionally to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service. Position is full time with a pay rate of $46.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security observations accurately and promptly.
