Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Driver Perimeter Security Officer in Orlando, FL. You will drive and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s values.

This full-time role requires an armed guard card, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a government location by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and patrol findings.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while ensuring a respectful environment for public and staff.
