Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol Inspection in Midland, TX. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide exceptional customer service in a chemical/petrochemical setting.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 1 year of armed security/military experience, and Texas Level III Armed Certification. This is a full-time driving post with a pay rate of $27.00 per hour.

As a Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol Inspection in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a Level III Armed Certification. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical/petrochemical location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, screen authorized visitors and contractors, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions.


• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate observations, emergencies, and security-related concerns to site personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• An armed guard card/license is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
