Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report using escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials, and report unusual conditions.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports per site procedures and laws.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or potential policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
