Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard for Response Patrol on a part-time basis in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor financial institutions and other sites, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to incidents with professionalism and clear communication.

As a part-time role, you can build a schedule that fits your life while earning $24.00 per hour. A valid armed guard card is required, with CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent expected.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subjects to a background investigation per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following site procedures for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and employees.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual occurrences, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 05:30 PM Sat06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Employees may have the opportunity to pick up open shifts and work additional hours if desired.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
