As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and Law Enforcement Officer License. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned transit locations, platforms, stations, surrounding perimeters, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, access concerns, and potential hazards; report observations and incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required documentation, complete incident reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
