• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and track visitor activity per site policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and logs.

As a Armed Security Officer - Building Protectionin Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs for incidents, patrols, access-related activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
