Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time, Armed Security Officer - Access Control and Patrol in State College, PA. The role involves protecting client sites, conducting routine patrols, and delivering courteous customer service while enforcing site rules.

Qualified candidates will have Act 235, a PA Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and 3–5 years of armed security or equivalent experience. Pay is 29.80 per hour, with potential to advance to full-time armed opportunities and receive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years combined experience in law enforcement, corrections, or military service, or 5 years of armed security experience.
• Act 235 Qualification is required for Pennsylvania postings.
• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit required if the role involves carrying.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter.
• Enforce rules and maintain order on the premises.
• Operate protective equipment and weapons as trained.
• Greet visitors, escort contractors, and secure entry/exit points.
