Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a patrol and access control role at a financial institution in Malvern, PA. You will perform security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain access control with a customer-service focus.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday evening schedule. Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet and have access control experience; a high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per law.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards or security concerns to site leadership and management.
