Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Armed for an Access Control and Patrol role in Tremont, PA. The position involves patrolling the site, enforcing policies, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

This armed post requires Act 235 qualification and a PA Concealed Carry permit. The role offers opportunities for growth, training, and an occasional path to full-time armed opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 40 miles from the Greater Tremont, PA area.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit required.
• Must be 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 2+ years combined of Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or the equivalent.
• Must pass a physical including push-ups, sit-ups, and a cardiovascular stress test.
• Background check and drug screen required in compliance with law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives for safety and viability.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned protective equipment and weapons as required.
• Greet guests and employees, escort visitors, and secure ingress/egress points.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communications.
• Respond to alarms and serve as first responder in emergencies, providing first aid as needed.
