Allied Universal, North America s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Armed Access Control in Dallas, TX. You will monitor, patrol, and manage access control for a manufacturing and industrial site, delivering strong customer service and clear communication.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, following day-time schedules. Allied Universal emphasizes safety, integrity, and growth through training and exclusive shift

Qualifications

• Minimum one year armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Criminal history considerations per law.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and emergency responses at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation and carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws and site policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
