As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including production areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
